The nursery school (120 childrens) is a model of energy efficiency and flexibility of use. The space architecture was conceived to meet new pedagogical methodologies resulting from the participatory design. Stratified dry construction (S / R system) was used to support design and distribution strategies. Orientation, solar inputs, hyperisolated casing, thermal masses and glass apertures, natural ventilation strategies (assisted by solar fireplaces), together with high efficiency systems with the help of systems for the exploitation of renewable resources have provided peak energy performance (class A C.EN.ED Lombardia).
