BIM LOD400 EXECUTIVE PROJECT AND STRUCTURAL CALCULATION
The structural and executive design of the bicycle storage of Zaha Hadid’s architectural exploits the potential of BIM design. Starting from essential architectural inputs (volumes, shapes and collocation), the structural project has gone through an iterative path in which the different parts (architects, facades, installers) contributed for the final risult. The presence of 3 structural joints intersecting the basement of the bicycle storage block and emergency stairs characterize the static structure, essentially composed of tubular profiles (140 mm) and UPN 120. The executive project consisted of modelling the object with advanced 3D tools and the subsequent realization of shop drawings both for the assembled and individual elements.
